VoteForThomas.com, is a campaign run by member's of the Bruins blogging world in effort to get Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas named to the 2008-2009 All-Star Game.
On November 4th, 2008 the NHL released their official 2008-2009 All-Star Game ballot. The ballot included many great names from around the league, even three Bruins, were named: Patrice Bergeron, Marc Savard, and Zdeno Chara. The one problem was that it only included a total of 10 Eastern Conference goaltenders and not one of them was named Tim Thomas. The official winning goaltender in the All-Star Game last year and statistically one of the top 5 goaltenders in the entire league this year, and still no respect for "The Tank". Adding more insult to injury, two of the goalies named who are currently injured while two others are just questionable.
So now what? I'll tell you what, on November 12th when voting begins, I want everyone to write-in Tim Thomas so that we make sure that he is where he belongs. The All-Star Game is an event for the fans and when a player that rightfully deserves to be named on the ballot is snubbed by the league, then the fans need to take matters into their own hands.
