The Boston Bruins have jumped right out of the gate in 2008 to a 8-3-3 record and a tie for first place in the Northeast Division with Buffalo.

A large part of the team's success can be attributed to goalie Tim Thomas, who boats a 5-2-2 record with a 1.85 goals against average. His 2008 play has him on par with some of the best goalies in the league.
